In investment there are two types of risk; systemic and un-systemic risk. The Systemic risk that pertains to the market as a whole cannot be avoided. The un-systemic risk that relates to a particular company or industry can be minimised; we try minimising it through our research and diversification. Having the flexibility to concentrate when opportunities are present and to reduce exposure when risks dictate caution has been key to our success.
